"Ughh, fuck this day..." Connie muttered as she finally stepped inside her house after a long day at work.
Taking off her jewelry by the door, she first kicked off her high-heeled shoes. She breathed a sigh of relief as her aching feet touched the cold floor, free of their elevated prisons for the day.
Next, she removed her skirt. While not as physically uncomfortable, having to remember to keep her legs together all day was certainly a mental chore. Her male coworkers (and female ones who wanted to see her fail) certainly wouldn't miss any slip ups.
As she began walking, she removed the pin keeping her hair up. Long and annoying, it nonetheless felt better as it flowed freely down her back.
Continuing back the hall, she unbuttoned her simple white blouse. Beneath that, she got the ultimate relief as she unhooked her bra and tossed it to the side. Placing her hands beneath her breasts, she took a deep breath as she moved in front of her bedroom mirror. Even though she had been professionally fitted after her swap, her bras still dug in and left red marks after such long periods of wear.
Turning to take a better look at her form, her eyes fell to her supple ass clad in silky white panties. Those would stay...at least for now...
She took a seat on the toilet and let her stream flow, another major relief after her bladder filled up sitting in rush-hour traffic for nearly an hour. That commute plus tough ten hour days on the job would be tough on anyone, but on someone who wasn't used to being a woman yet (nevermind all of the wardrobe and bodily function requirements it entails) it was torture.
Formerly a man named Colin, he was a productive middle manager at a large company. However, he had been passed over for promotion repeatedly in the last few years, leaving him stuck. The job market being rather bare, he had limited options for advancement...until his company struck a deal with Good Gurls Rehab. They were offering their famous "Mile in Her Shoes" program in which male employees who volunteered to be swapped would receive raises and fast-tracked for promotions. Colin struggled with the decision...but ultimately got the swap.
After some training on how to dress and take care of her new body, Connie returned to work. Sure, there was some direct teasing, plenty of awkward moments being checked out, and few of her male coworkers even hit on her, but the extra money and promise of promotion was well worth it.
Today, however, she was thrown a curveball. "You've been a great fit in the program and we have a new Director position opening up soon that we think you'd be perfect for," her boss began to her delight. "However, we'd like for you to remain a woman, at least for a while longer. We're thinking...maybe 10 years? It would be great to have a powerful, confident woman in that position but it wouldn't work to have you switch back so soon...take a day and think it over..."
As Connie sat in a warm bath, glass of wine in hand, she mulled over the offer. Ten years would take her into her forties...if she wanted to start a family, she would have to do so as a woman. Maybe she could find a nice lesbian wife to take care of her... And the daily stresses like the clothes and bodily functions would remain...at least she could maybe, finally get used to them...
It was a lot to think over...
