It’s a shame that most caption writers think this way about religious people. I don’t know the kind of religious people they’ve met, but most I’ve met are gentle and kind. This is a gross exaggeration of the majority of religious folk out there.
I guess I shouldn’t expect a thing from smut writers but if you’re gonna paint broad strokes even in a ‘cute’ little caption then I’m gonna paint broad strokes with the caption writers. My main issue is that these people attacking religion and religious folks don’t have the nuance or the capability to do so. It’s the equivalent of porn directors talking about religion basically.
And to think that every older person is a narrow minded bigot is another issue altogether. Most caption writers could learn a thing or two by talking with people outside of the internet.
